Choix

I guess no one can still remember the time that they first chose the vegetables they want to eat. And chances are, it's by one's parents' choice. But, it is those few precious, initial moments, that will determine the future of your vege-eating patterns.

Throughout one's life, choices made you either someone who loves, dislikes or neutral (eating just because you must or have to) in consumption vegetables. Like it or not, it is those choices that determine your health. As you keep living on and making choice, and trying new plants (old-school or exotic, likewise), you'll be having them for a year or two, but soon either love it or hate it.

You understand that particular class of veges more and more, too.

Then, you started to try the elusive ones again. But this time, they ditch you, due to market elusiveness. They got together and laugh at your face, and questions your loyalty towards them. You stated your reasons, and they accepted it. Now, you can still see them around the market; you can flirt with them once in a while, but you can't get them totally, for all your heart is not theirs. I guess law of unintended consequences do take charge, after all.

Well, I guess the main point is, initial choices, no matter how good or bad they are, will always, somehow, determine your future choices. Choose them wisely. This is analogous to...
